November came and went so quickly I can’t believe that it is December today. We had a lot of big ticket happenings in the Robinson household. In no particular order here they are
First, the 233rd Marine Corps Birthday was on the 10th, Sara and I went to the Ball in Springfield at the Elks lodge. I would have to say that it was one of the better balls that I have been too; we had a lot of fun. I took some really good video that will come in handy for blackmail latter.
Second, Mom turned… like 100 this year and we threw a little pre birthday party for her at our apartment. The ball was on her actual birthday so Sara and I were out of town; a couple days before we left we had her over for some cake.
Third, we had some very exciting and then terribly disappointing news. We found out that Sara was prego with number 3, I couldn’t believe it but we were very excited to be expecting again. Then on the Monday before Thanks giving Sara started having some spotting; we went into the doctors and they did an ultrasound where we got to see the little flutter of a heart beat which made me feel better to think that things would turn out all right. Well the Lord had other plans and Tuesday night it got worse so we went back in on Wednesday to see the doctor again. This time no heart beat. It is sad but the Lord has his plans.
That’s all I have time for at present so I will write more about Thanksgiving and so on later.

Halloween
Olson and Deacon, oh sorry I mean Dragon and Pumpkin went out trick or treating for the first time together. We started off in a neighborhood up on the hill in Tualatin; Olson made a killing with his cute little dragon costume. At each door he alternated between “Twick o tweet” and “Appy Owoween” once he got his candy it was a b-line to the side walk with a “Gank you” shouted over his shoulder. After the neighborhood we went over to Bridgeport Village to top off the candy bag. We stopped at the little play ground to let Olson play; he quickly made new friends with a cow girl. Deacon had a great time at the play ground rolling around like a pumpkin, he even got spoiled with a little bit of candy himself. Olson went over to dance in the little gazebo with all the other kids, but the music was to loud so we headed home. We tried to stop at a couple more stores on our way out but Olson was starting to get a little too tired to keep going.
Now that Halloween is over we have to try to explain to Olson that we only go trick or treating once a year. Over all Halloween was a big success the boys both had a great time and Sara and I even did too. Tuesday, October 28, 2008
The Beginning
Welcome all to my first attempt at blogging. Sara and I are here in Tualatin, enjoying the great North West fall. With Halloween approaching Olson is excited to put on his dragon costume and go trick or treating. Every evening when it starts to get dark he says “oh it’s Halloween time!” Deacon is learning to hold his own with Olson. He can crawl anywhere you can walk and get into anything you think he can’t.
